Meet LaChelle

Safety. Accountability. Transparency. Action.

For years, I have been advocating for constituents by helping them navigate government systems, demanding transparency, raising concerns about public safety, and holding public officials accountable. Through that work, I have seen firsthand how policies and government actions can impact the daily lives of families, businesses, and communities.

As a State Representative, I will take that advocacy to the state level. My experience working directly with constituents has given me a practical understanding of the challenges people face and the barriers they encounter when government is not responsive or accountable.

My role will not simply be to vote on legislation. It will be to carefully review proposed laws and policies to ensure they serve the public interest, protect individual rights, and do not create unnecessary burdens on the people they affect. I will work to ensure that legislation is transparent, accountable, fiscally responsible, and does not infringe upon the rights of the constituents I represent.

I believe government works best when it listens to the people. That is why I will maintain an open-door policy, remain accessible to constituents, and ensure that my votes reflect the priorities and concerns of District 32. My goal is simple: to turn advocacy into action, protect the rights of our residents, and deliver results that improve the lives of the people I serve.

A Bold Vision. Real Solutions

Public Safety

Every resident deserves to feel safe. I will advocate at the state level for stronger laws, targeted funding, and accountability measures that support safer communities across Delaware, including Dover.

Housing

We need more affordable housing options for both renters and homeowners, stronger renter protections, and real pathways out of homelessness.

Education

I will fight for strong public schools, fair funding, and real support for teachers and students alike. I will push for after-school programs, mentorship, and youth services that reach the kids who need them most — not just the ones whose parents can pay.

Mental Health

I will focus on results that people can see. That means real treatment access, support for families navigating crisis, and care for our veterans.

“I won’t just talk. I will fight, take action, and be held accountable for delivering results.”
